Association under the 1901 law created in December 1999.

Its aim is to help conserve the castle, gardens and forest of the estate, as well as to promote this listed heritage.

Dear friends,

I wish this New Year to bring joy, health, and happiness to you and your families.

Over the past year, our Association has organized and supported numerous events.

At the beginning of July, we welcomed the Tréteaux du Soleil troupe for four performances of The Well-Digger's Daughter: 910 delighted and enthusiastic spectators came to applaud our faithful actors!

The Medieval Day on July 21st, with 1,693 visitors, was a complete success!

Our sporting event, organized jointly with La Roche Courbon on the third weekend of October, was expanded with a new event: a semi-nocturnal trail on Saturday evening. We welcomed 372 hikers and 1,507 runners, all distances combined, over these two days!

After 15 years as president of our association, William Weber has decided to step down. We warmly thank him for all his services and dedication over the years.

Amicour is looking for a new president, who will be elected at our next general meeting, scheduled for March 29, 2025.

All our events took place in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere thanks to the presence and involvement of all our volunteers. I thank you enormously, because without you, nothing would be possible.

Of course, Christine and Philippe Sébert would like to express our thanks here for allowing us to enter this magnificent château and explore it with complete confidence.

My council also joins me in thanking the château team who support our activities with energy and good humor.

We would like to express our gratitude here.

For 2025, the challenge is considerable. Indeed, support from the Charente-Maritime Department has been reduced by 50%; We are working to achieve, despite this challenge, another wonderful year promoting La Roche Courbon.

I have confidence in the future: I am surrounded by courageous volunteers full of ideas.

We look forward to seeing many of you join this human adventure!
